Old Generation Past 30 Years and the New Generation

                       Old Generation
               Past 30 Years

The past-30 year old generation has obtained information in linear, logical and sequential manner. On the positive side this has made them more logical, focused and reflective thinkers.

In communicating they interact physically, person to person, or face to face .

In having the exam, they use paper pencil –test or perhaps orally.

Slow and single track pattern or finishes a task one at a time.

Learners do their research in the library, skimming, scanning the books to find facts or answer.

Most of their learning's are acquired through listening to the teacher, reading a lot of books, newspaper, and listening to the radio.

In playing games, they played with a concrete partner.

In writing the facts, information, they used paper or notebook. In making the design, they use a manual hand. they have a direct contact with the material used.

They are verbal-textual learners. Theoretical in thinking.

             New Generation

The new generation however, follows a personal random access to hyper-linked digital information, less superior to elders in focus and reflection. Thus they appear to be more easily bored and distracted during class lectures.

In communicating they use the digital medias, such as: cellphone, telephone, e-mail, Facebook, g mail, Skype, etc.

Learners take the examination, quizzes, or query through online.

Are able to do multitasking task switching speed or can do different task simultaneously.

They search in the internet in finding information, answer or a kind of documentation.

Their learning's is being built mostly in hands on of computers, surfing in the internet, watching videos etc.

Virtual partner/s in playing games.

On the other hand new generation uses Microsoft word, excel, power point etc., in writing info or messages. they use the computer in making the design.

Digital expansion of learners. Practical in thinking.
